An October Update from NESA!


Hello members and friends of the NESA Community! We hope you have been enjoying the Fall season so far, including the warm weather and all the beauty this time of year brings amongst the trees, leaves and landscapes.
It's hard to believe that we are already entering our sixth week of the season, time has flown by and it feels like we are still just getting settled into our four temporary locations. It has been such a positive and successful transition into all of these venues and we can't thank our members enough for their ongoing support of our programs and activities!
While we don't have a great deal of new news to share with you, we do have some important reminders and updates we wanted to provide.

If you haven't already signed up for our programs and activities starting the week of October 23 or October 30, please sign up soon!

We kindly ask our members to consider registering as soon as they are able to so we can ensure our programs don't run the risk of getting cancelled due to low enrollment. Enrollment minimums are assessed one week prior to the start date of the program so please don't delay and be sure to sign up today!

Grand Dueling Piano Show - October 20, 2023 at 7:00pm

Back by popular demand, NESA has organized another music-filled evening with our friends from the Grand Dueling Piano Show.
Get your tickets today and spend the evening with us at the Glengarry Community Hall singing all of your favorite tunes!

Book Donations at McClure United Church

Now that we are all moved in and organized at the McClure United Church, we are pleased to inform you that we are now able to accept select book donations.
If you have any pocketbooks or hard/soft cover books, please feel free to drop them off to the Church during our scheduled office hours.
Please note: We are not currently accepting magazines at this time.

'Lil Book Sales' at McClure United Church

Our next Lil Book Sale is scheduled for Monday, October 16, 2023. 
Our book sales are scheduled at the McClure United Church on Mondays from 9:00am-3:00pm, located in the basement.
Note: Cash sales only and there is no ATM on site.
Book Sale Access: To prevent program disruption, you will be required to take the lift down to the basement to access the book room.

NESA's next Bottle Drive!

Our next bottle drive will be on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 8:30am-12:00pm at the Steele Heights Community Hall parking lot.
(Address: 5825 140 Avenue).
