Dear Faculty, Administrators and Staff,
I am honored to have been asked by Monsignor Reilly to return as the Interim Provost and am grateful for the extraordinary leadership provided by Dr. Passerini over the past five years. I am also appreciative of the efforts of all the members of our community in service to the University, and I hope to be a worthy leader of the Division of Academic Affairs.
As I return to my role as Interim Provost, I am encouraged by the progress we have made in recent years to strengthen our partnerships across faculty bodies, administrative divisions, and functional areas. Together, we have built a cross-functional team of experts and made important strides to advance Seton Hall at both the institutional and academic levels.
Looking ahead, I am committed to advancing our shared priorities, including launching the full implementation of the new strategic plan, supporting mission-centered innovation across academic programs, and continuing to cultivate a collaborative culture of academic excellence. I look forward to building on this momentum as we prepare for the upcoming academic year.
In that spirit, I invite you to join us on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 1 p.m. in the University Center's Event Room for Faculty Convocation. A reception will follow immediately afterward in Bethany Hall. This special event is an excellent opportunity to welcome new faculty to the University and to recognize those being honored for promotion and tenure.
