Oregon minimum wage is increasing again on July 1st. The new base rate is $14.20/hr but employers located inside the Urban Growth Boundary will need to increase their minimum pay to $15.45/hr. (Any employer in nonurban counties can pay $13.20/hr.) This three-tiered system can be confusing so if you are no sure which rate applies to you, you can click to Learn More or give Michelle a call at 503-223-4408. We will be contacting clients with employees who need pay increases effective on this date. The updated required poster is not yet available but we’ll send it out as soon as it is!

The required timelines for final checks are strict and unforgiving so let us know before you terminate an employee or when an employee has quit with at least 48 hours notice. We will spring into action and make a plan for getting the employee their final check in the required time.
