Each month the the TRIO Student Support Services program throws a community event in which TRIO scholars, GEAR UP students, and their friends and families are invited to meet, eat, play games, and interact with each other. This event is meant to foster a community of engagement between TRIO Scholars and GEAR UP Students so that they can make new friends and feel more comfortable on campus. Free pizza, salad, and drinks are provided at the event. Attendees can bowl and play pool for free, but we also have a number of board games and other activities to engage in.

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) |
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps keep families safe and healthy through initiatives that assist families with energy costs. LIHEAP provides federally funded assistance to reduce the costs associated with home energy bills, energy crises, weatherization, and minor energy-related home repairs.
LIHEAP can help you stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer through programs that reduce the risk of health and safety problems that arise from unsafe heating and cooling situations and practices.
