The GW Cancer Center is a training and technical assistance provider of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program.

GW TAP will be hosting the next session of Comp Cancer Connection on March 17. There will be no formal presentations, but the GW TAP team will be on Zoom, ready to say hello and offer a time to connect, ask questions or just talk with colleagues who join the call.

Registration is not required. Two meetings will be offered on the same day, one at 9:30 a.m. ET and the other at 3:30 p.m. ET. 

April is a busy month for cancer control observances. Among these are National Young Adult Cancer Awareness Week, which occurs during the first week of April, and National Minority Cancer Awareness Week, during the third week. Our Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month Toolkit offers ready-to-use social media messages, graphics, and evidence-based guidance you can share with your audiences to support prevention, early detection messaging, and community engagement throughout the month.
