Dear Tulane Family Member,

Now that the spring semester is over, it is time to congratulate our graduating seniors and wish the rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors a great summer break!
If your student is graduating, I wish them all the best in the next phase of their journey. I also encourage them to maintain their connection with Tulane through our Regional Tulane Clubs. Over 40 domestic and international clubs offer social, career, service, and networking activities. Whether your student is returning to their hometown or moving to a new city, involvement in an alumni club offers opportunities for developing community and connections.
If your student is continuing at Tulane, I hope the summer provides an energizing change of pace whether they are taking summer courses, working at a summer job or internship, or relaxing with friends and family.

Does your student have an internship this summer? Newcomb-Tulane College Career Services would love to know! Please encourage your student to complete our Summer Experience Survey so we can better support their interests and expand networking opportunities through the Mussafer Internship Initiative.
Summer is a great time for students to use the Career on Demand interactive career education modules available online. Module topics include identifying career pathways for academic majors, learning how to network, building a personal brand, crafting resumes and cover letters, and more.

School of Liberal Arts Summer Courses |
Are you ready to help your student plan their summer and enrich their education?
Consider a Side Quest Summer That Counts. These are courses that provide real progress — toward your student's major, a minor, or service-learning hours. Students can complete credits, advance minors, and open flexibility for the year ahead with in-person, hybrid, and completely online options. These are not extra classes. They count.
These courses will help students:
• Start or finish a minor
• Earn service-learning credit
• Lighten their fall or spring load
Help your student make a Summer Side Quest count!

New Lower Cost Bus and Streetcar Pass for Tulane Students |

The UPass is a discounted transit pass available through the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA), providing active students unlimited access to the bus, streetcar, and ferry for an entire semester for just $85. Students may purchase their UPass directly through the Tulane UPass portal.
