Back To School on Zoom or Lesson Room... Fall is Here and We Are Ready to Rock!

Ready to Get Back to Lessons and Groups?

If you took the summer off, we miss you!  Be sure to call Brian and get your lesson and other groups on the schedule as we are getting an unprecedented number of students and filling up.  Call us on 703-242-2184.

Summer Camp Season Was Short But Strong!

The dog days of summer may be winding down, but our Summer Campers are just beginning their musical journey! It is incredible what these determined kiddos accomplished in one week. They started out as beginners, but finished as full-fleged ROCK STARS! Not only did most of the campers learn to play an instrument for the first time, but they also developed their teamwork skills, confidence, and discipline. And to top if off, they came together as a band and put on an incredible show! Check out the pictures below!
Our Camps are a condensed session of our year-round programs. So whether your student wants to learn their first instrument, wants to explore a new instrument, play in a band, or study songwriting... we've got you covered! Fall lessons and classes are enrolling now! Click below to schedule your free trial and assessment today!

Update On Re-Opening In Person Lessons & Groups

We have heard from many parents and adult students that they are comfortable with our safety protocols and ready to return to in person programs.  We have been moving cautiously in this regard to ensure that we have the protocols right and that both our staff and students are safe when in the building, and now we are ready for you!  We will be keeping our online options too - your choice! To learn more about our safety protocols, timing and all the options, call Brian on 703-242-2184.

Rock 101 In Person Groups Are Coming!

Starting this month we are bringing back our weekly Rock 101 in person group classes for our beginner students! Rock 101 is where you connect what you are learning in your lesson with making music with others and it's FUN!  Students who participate in the Rock 101 experience learn faster and get over that beginner phase more quickly so it's a win win to participate.
For safety, we are keeping these groups much smaller than before to ensure we can be socially distant while playing and there are a host of other safety protocols in place too.  For more information or to sign up, email Brian on vienna@schoolofrock.com to get on the list.

Adult Rock Program Is Coming Back!

We will be bringing back a fall session of our super fun Adult Rock Band Program.  We are looking to start the first or second weekend in October and run through the fall.  Let us know you are interested by emailing us on vienna@schoolofrock.com.

2. Dokken
3. Van Halen
4. Iron Maiden

If you could be in any band or artist (past or present) who would it be and why?
I would choose to be in Van Halen because I could learn a lot from Eddie’s Van Halen’s guitar work and they were pretty popular.
