Teaching Teens to Save Lives

Bringing 3 Steps Detect to the classroom

Teachers from Everett, MA High School recently attended the MAVA Conference in June, where they discovered DetecTogether’s early cancer detection education for teens. In partnership with EHS, DetecTogether provided a flexible, ready-to-use curriculum for teachers to bring this lifesaving knowledge to their classrooms.

In September, more than 100 students in the CTE Medical Assisting program learned how to apply 3 Steps Detect to their own lives—and how they can use these same skills to help future patients get timely care.
