BeeChicas Present - Dam it
|
In "Eager: The Surprising, Secret Life of Beavers and Why They Matter," Ben Goldfarb reveals that our idea of a healthy ecosystem is flawed due to the fur trade's elimination of millions of beavers. This loss led to drained ponds, dried wetlands, and lost habitats for many species. Today, "Beaver Believers" work to restore beavers, recognizing their critical role in healthier ecosystems. In his talk, Ben will cover beaver history, their ecological benefits, and how we can coexist with them. Registration Recommended.
