Campus CommunityHERE to help each other: That's Operation Hustle John Foster, general manager of Warren Golf Course, faced a dilemma at the start of the season: A University-wide hiring freeze, due to the pandemic, meant he couldn't hire seasonal staff. Since the U.S. Senior Open took place at Warren in 2019, first-time visitors were expected to travel from all over to experience what makes the course so challenging and beautiful. Friends in athletics came to the rescue with an effort called Operation Hustle. (More...)

Faculty and staff were treated to complimentary football tickets to the final Notre Dame Football home game. The Irish took on and beat the Syracuse Orange, 45-21. Amy Huber, pictured above in the gray coat, said of the experience: "I couldn't feel my feet by the end of the game but it was a great game and win! We appreciated the free tickets." ( More...)

BenefitsVirtual Irish Health raffle winners announced
The popular Irish Health fair was held in a virtual format this year. Employees who visited at least five virtual booths showcasing University benefits were entered into a raffle to win cash prizes up to $750. The winners share what they liked about this year's fair. ( More...)

Correction (buyND+)University contract system debuts Monday, Dec. 14
This week's edition of TheWeek@ND Digest stated that accounts payable invoicing capabilities will be available in buyND+ Monday, Dec. 7. The system will launch Monday, Dec. 14. When you place an order in buyND+, as usual, you will be able to track your requisition to purchase order status. Now you can also track the invoice status. Staff and faculty from the Nanovic Institute for European Studies and the Keough School of Global Affairs recently gathered at Cultivate Food Rescue to package 268 nutritious meals for our neighbors in need. FaithChristmas Mass at the Basilica requires reservationsCelebrating Christmas Mass will be a little different this year. Due to the pandemic, the Mass schedule is different and you must have a reservation to attend. Christmas Eve Mass will be offered at 4 p.m., 7 p.m., and 10 p.m. and Mass on Christmas Day will be at 10 a.m. (More...)
