County Spotlight: Clay County |
Enhancing Community Spaces to Support Active Living in Clay County |
The Maple Grove Community Center (Clay County, TN), a historic multigenerational gathering space, recently underwent improvements to support active living and community engagement. The project was made possible through the efforts of volunteers and community partners, including Clay County Extension, Be More Steering Committee members, Clay County maintenance employees, Maple Grove residents, Celina Lumber Company, and JCL Metals.
These enhancements strengthen the built environment by creating a more supportive setting for physical activity and community use.
