Notice of Funding Opportunity for NASA FY 2024 Teams Engaging Affiliated Museums and Informal Institutions (TEAM II) and STEM Innovator Awards


NASA is seeking proposals for the 2024 NASA TEAM II Community Anchor and STEM Innovator Awards. Eligible proposers include U.S. nonprofit science museums, planetariums, youth-serving organizations, and libraries.

Selected parties will offer inquiry- or experiential-based opportunities that include NASA education and research and directly align with space exploration, aeronautics, space science, Earth science, or microgravity.

Proposals for the Community Anchor Awards for TEAM II are due Tuesday, Aug. 27. Proposals for STEM Innovator Awards for TEAM II are due Thursday, Sept. 26. Questions may be directed to TEAMii@nasaprs.com.

Lead the Way: Libraries At The Heart Of Community Engagement Conference

April 21-22, 2025 | Madison, WI


Call for proposals is now open! Share strategies for building community partnerships, strategic planning, programs to engage the community, funding opportunities, and more! Sessions for the conference will be one hour. Priority will be given to sessions that include interactive elements and audience participation. Every selected session will receive one complimentary conference registration.

Looking for some good conversation at the conference? The conference committee is also looking for roundtable moderators! We are looking for roundtable facilitators to help lead conversations around community partnerships, community pushback, funding options, and more! 

The deadline to submit session proposals and roundtable applications is September 2, 2024.

Fostering Belonging in Neurodiverse Teams

The NASA@ My Library team, along with a consultant from Happily Autistic recently provided a presentation to other NASA Science Activation groups and Science Mission Directorate teams about fostering belonging and inclusion within a team that consists of both neurodivergent and neurotypical members. While many of our lessons learned came from our own interactions, we also were able to share ideas and concepts learned from observing the great work already happening in the library community.
