It's Almost Wordplay Time!

The 12th Annual Wordplay competition is just weeks away - Wednesday, April 24.  Tickets are now on sale at  The Paramount Box Office. They will also be available this week in our office.
We still need a few volunteers to make the evening a great success. If you're interested in helping out, please email our volunteer coordinator, Dana, at volunteers@literacyforall.org.

Five LVCA Students Share Stories at 2019 Voices Event

We are extremely proud of the five students who participated in the Voices of Adult Learners event on Thursday, March 21. You can view photos from the event online.
If you'd like to purchase a copy of this year's book you can do so through Amazon
Two students, Qin & Bushiri, were also featured in the C-VILLE Weekly article,
"Unheard stories: Voices of Adult Learners showcases a different side of Charlottesville."
Thank you to all the tutors who helped their students prepare for the writing contest. The next opportunity for students to share their writing is coming up soon. The Joy of Writing is a publication that Literacy Volunteers produces each summer. Stay tuned for more details!
