Did You Know . . . Our Student Services team of Eric Shannon and Zach Piper provides vital support to St. John’s Law students. At the start of the academic year, they sent packages to all remote 1Ls filled with school-branded items and a personalized note to remind them that, wherever they are, they’re part of the Law School community. They also call students who are learning remotely to check in. The “virtual wellness” resource list the team assembled for students is now a popular monthly Wellness Newsletter. And, always looking for new ways to connect with students—and to connect students with one another—Student Services has put together a series of virtual Pizza Social Hours (hat tip to Vice Dean Sarah Jean Kelly for the original idea), intimate, low-stakes, non-academic gatherings hosted by faculty and administrators.
