Let's Seal-ebrate Some Animal Birthdays!
|
Join us this month in seal-ebrating Skinny the harbor seal's 49th birthday; this makes her one of the oldest–if not the oldest–harbor seals in the world! Turkey vultures Olive and Ichabod also turn 16 this month, and our pelican Pip turns 8! We've also entered hatching season in our seabird aviary, so many of our murres, guillemots, puffins and more are celebrating their hatch-days!
Want to help celebrate some of these birthday animals? Don't forget, many of our animals are available for animal adoption! Proceeds from our adoptions go directly towards the continued care and support for our animals.
