House of Delegates Recap

A huge thank you goes out to all the members of Nashville Academy of Medicine who dedicated their time and expertise as delegates to the Tennessee Medical Association House of Delegates on April 6th. It was a privilege to witness the largest assembly of local advocates, representing a diverse range of members including students, residents, fellows, practicing physicians, and retirees across various specialties.
Congratulations to our NAM board member Dr. Trey Lee, for his role as the 2024 Vice-Speaker of the TMA House of Delegates, with the added honor of serving as Speaker of the House in 2025. Additionally, we are privileged to count NAM members among the TMA Board of Trustees for the upcoming year: medical student Maro Doce, Dr. Trey Lee, Dr. Nicole Schlechter, and Dr. James McKenzie.
And we express our profound thanks to NAM board member, Dr. Adrian Rodriguez, for his service over the last four years on the TMA Board of Trustees.
