UO EVENTS
Come out to the Museum of Natural and Cultural History lawn for live demonstrations of Oregon’s living traditions. The first Oregon Culture Night of the summer will feature traditional Irish Gaelic singing on Thursday, July 10, at 6:00 p.m.
Oregon heavy metal bands will take the stage at Chaos 4 Cause at WOW Hall on Friday, July 11, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Get tickets in advance for $12 at the UO Ticket Office in the EMU.
Check out the world-class performances and artist talks during the Oregon Bach Festival. Events are either $5 for students or free.
Discover the stories and resilience of early Chinese Americans in Oregon at the Roots and Resilience exhibit. There’s free admission to the Museum of Natural and Cultural History for students with their UO ID card.

Campus Planning and Facilities Management is scheduling electrical testing for Wednesday, Aug. 6, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Successful tests will be undetectable on campus, but a failed test will result in a ten-second power outage.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS
Rent gear and bikes for your upcoming outdoor adventures. The Outdoor Program Rental Barn has what you need at a low cost and is open Tuesday–Friday, 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. through the summer.
Free yoga classes are still available this summer for the UO community at noon on Wednesdays in Studio 283 at the Student Recreation Center.
Speaking of the Rec Center, take advantage of the air conditioning and the many spaces to work out, take a class, or pick up a new activity in your spare time.
This weekend is the fiftieth Prefontaine Classic—the annual premier track and field meet at Hayward Field. The event commemorates UO track legend Steve Prefontaine.
