Dear Faculty, Administrators and Staff,
As we enter the final weeks of the semester, I hope you are finding moments of calm amid the busy close of classes. Today marks our Reading Day, and I wish our students – and all who support them – focus and steady momentum as we move into finals.
I also want to remind everyone that our Employee Christmas Party will take place this Thursday, December 11, at 5 p.m. in Bethany Hall. Prior to the party, The University Chorus and Chamber Choir, under the direction of Dr. Jason Tramm, welcomes all of us to Lessons and Carols. Steeped in the rich heritage of the English choral tradition, the program will feature a blend of readings, anthems, and carols. I look forward to celebrating the season with you and gathering as a community before we wrap up the semester.
Wishing you a productive and peaceful week ahead.

Using Compass to Close Out the Semester
As we wrap up the semester, we encourage faculty and staff to take advantage of Compass to support students’ academic success. Logging notes, sending targeted messaging campaigns, and reviewing student profiles in Compass ensures timely communication, coordinated support, and strong documentation as students move into the next term. Consistent use of these features helps all campus partners stay aligned and prepared for spring advising and outreach.

Compass Super User Spotlight

We’re excited to recognize the College of Human Development, Culture, and Media (CHDCM) as this week’s Compass Super User! The college collaborated closely with the EAB Compass Leadership Team to implement new rules and processes that ensure students have the correct Academic Advisor when viewing their accounts.
