The Whitewater Arts Alliance is a place where you’ll find many current or former Warhawks serving as artists and volunteers and where the city’s vibrancy is on full display. UW-Whitewater continued its Mascot on Main initiative this spring as Chancellor Corey King and Willie Warhawk visited local businesses to celebrate their mutually beneficial partnerships with the university.

Campus Garden Party this Tuesday
|
Learn about the nutritious benefits of plant-based meals at a Harvest-to-Table Campus Garden Party this Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Guests will help harvest produce from the Campus Garden, join a cooking demonstration with Warhawk Dining's dietitian, and build flavorful rice bowls. This event — hosted by Warhawk Dining, Warhawk Pantry, and UWW Sustainability — is free to attend.

Math alum finds his fit in actuarial science
|
Chris Bitz, who graduated from UW-Whitewater with a B.S. in mathematics in 2023, is thriving as an actuarial analyst with Nationwide. The Brookfield native used the skills gained through his coursework at the university and his experiences as a member of the campus Actuarial Club and as a student-athlete on the men's track and field team to set himself up for a prosperous career.
