Fort Wayne moves up one to #115.
Evansville moves up one to #163.

Terre Haute moves up one to #214.

Where Are They Now? Former Oasis Radio Group/Fort Wayne Production Director and on-air personality Chris Cruise now handles afternoons at KAWO-FM in Boise, Idaho.

Chicago media reporter Robert Feder mentions in a recent column that Joshua Short joins Gray Television's NBC affiliate/WNDU-TV (Channel 16, South Bend) as a weekend anchor. Mr. Short graduated from Columbia College in Chicago.

Entercom's CHR/WZPL (99.5fm, Greenfield) welcomes Dylan Salisbury as their new MD and afternoon drive personality. Mr. Salisbury arrives from Des Moines, Iowa, where he had both roles at KKDM-FM. Mr. Salisbury also worked in Minneapolis, Minnesota (KDWB-FM) and Lincoln, Nebraska (KFRX-FM). Mr. Salisbury begins at WZPL on Monday November 6.

October 22: In 1940, 1450am in Vincennes signed on as WAOV, and still is. In 2001, WMYS (1430am, Indianapolis) flips format from Standards to Talk (WXNT).
October 23: In 1924, 1130am in Indianapolis signed on as WFBM. It later moved to 1330am (1927), 1090am (1928), 1230am (1929) and after NARBA in 1941: 1260am. Today, it's WNDE. In 2014, former WPTA-TV Fort Wayne VP/GM Ed Metcalfe died at age 96.
October 24: In 2002, WXKE (103.9fm, Fort Wayne) flips format from Rock ("Rock 104") to AC as WYLT ("My 103.9"). In 2003, WENS (97.1fm, Shelbyville) became a Hot AC as "Real 97.1." In 2016, veteran Terre Haute DJ Matt Luecking dies. Age 44.
October 25: In 1979, WNDU-FM (92.9fm, South Bend) drops their hit parade music format, and launches as Top 40/"U93".
October 27: In 1977, Longtime Wabash Valley Broadcasting/Terre Haute GM (WTHI(AM), WTHI-FM, WWVR-FM) Tony Hulman, Jr. dies at age 76.
October 28: In 1991, 96.3fm in Indianapolis signs on at 6:00am as WHHH, and still is.
