THDA Hosts Annual Housing Industry Advisory Board Luncheon
Earlier this month, THDA welcomed members of the Housing Industry Advisory Board to our annual in-person luncheon. This gathering provided an invaluable opportunity to connect face-to-face and engage in meaningful discussions about the challenges and opportunities surrounding affordable housing in Tennessee.
During the event, we also recognized and honored board members whose terms concluded this year. We are deeply grateful for their service and unwavering commitment to helping make the dream of homeownership a reality for families across our state.
Thank you for your dedication and partnership in advancing affordable housing for Tennesseans.

As the holiday season approaches, please be advised that THDA’s turn times are expected to increase. To ensure adequate review prior to your scheduled closing, we kindly request that you allow at least 48 hours for file evaluation. It is essential that all submissions are complete, follow the Submission Checklist, and include any additional documentation required by your underwriter for approval determination.
If excessive conditions are issued during your file review, review time may take up to an additional 24 hours to clear the conditions and issue the approval. Our goal is to assist as many new homeowners as possible to move into their homes for the holidays, and your cooperation with accurate and thorough submissions is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your continued participation in THDA’s mortgage loan programs. If you have any questions, please contact SFask@thda.org or contact your Customer Account Manager.

As part of my role as one of THDA’s Real Estate Industry Advisors, I try to keep up with state housing sales data in some of our biggest markets. The national, state, and local Realtor associations do an incredible job of pulling together this information and making it available to their members and the public at large. I thought that it might be beneficial to have some of this data complied together in one place. I’ve included the credits for this information below; please check in with these organizations to learn more about housing sales in their markets.
