The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace is a global network of policy research centers. Gaither junior fellows work as research assistants to the endowment's senior associates in Washington D.C. This session will familiarize you with the award and application process. Critical Language Scholarship (CLS)
CLS is a fully-funded summer study abroad opportunity to learn languages essential to the US: Azerbaijani, Bangla, Hindi, Indonesian, Persian, Punjabi, Swahili, Turkish, Urdu, Arabic, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, and Japanese.

All or Multiple Disciplines
Disability Rights Washington’s (DRW) Public Folicy Fellows- Deadline: October 9! Work with and learn from a dynamic team of seasoned disability rights advocates, learn about diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion issues, participate in legislative activities, learn about and assist in community mobilization, build your resume, learn about careers in advocacy, and learn about what it takes to create systemic change. Time commitment: Six months/26 weeks, 15 hours per week in November and December consisting of training and on-boarding in preparation for session. 20 hours per week January to April for legislative session support. At times meetings and events may happen outside of regular business hours. Pay rate is $20 per hour. The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals- Deadline: November 1! The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) is a fellowship funded by the German Bundestag and U.S. Congress, that annually provides 75 American and 75 German young professionals the opportunity to spend one year in each others' countries, studying, interning, and living with hosts on a cultural immersion program. Open to U.S. citizens between 18-24 y/o.
Chevening Scholarships- Deadline: November 2. Chevening is the UK Government’s international awards scheme aimed at developing global leaders. Open to international students (U.S. citizens are not eligible) interested in pursuing graduate study in the UK.
Princeton in Latin America- Deadline: November 12. PiLA matches partner organizations engaged in socially responsible development projects in Latin America and the Caribbean with highly qualified and motivated recent college graduates who are interested in year-long service fellowships throughout the region. There is a $100 application fee & $500 placement fee and medical insurance & air fare are not included. Applicants who currently are Pell Grant recipients or federal financial aid recipients may submit a copy of their current award letter to be evaluated for possible fee waivers/reductions.
The National Council of Jewish Women/ Los Angeles (NCJW/LA) Scholarships- Deadline: November 15. The NCJW/LA Scholarship Program is designed to ease the financial burden of people who are trying to better their lives through education in the aftermath of trauma, loss and other setbacks. Their recipients have ranged from survivors of domestic violence to single fathers to first generation college students. Interested applicants must live and attend school in the Greater Los Angeles area, including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and Ventura Counties. Applicants do not have to be Jewish to apply
Frank R. Seaver College of Science & Engineering
National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Science (GEM) Fellowship Program- Deadline: November 15. Preparing technical leaders for advanced careers in industry, academia, and government agencies by identifying and selecting highly qualified students to complete a program of STEM graduate study and industry internships.GEM’s principal activity is the provision of graduate fellowships at the MS and PhD levels coupled with paid summer internships. GEM Fellows typically receive full tuition as well as a generous living stipend.

O'Hare Fellowship
Graduating seniors from Jesuit colleges and universities throughout the United States and Canada are invited to apply to become a Joseph A. O'Hare, S.J., Postgraduate Media Fellow.
The O'Hare Fellowship supports the next generation of content producers for the Catholic media and other forms of professional journalism. The fellowship offers three recent graduates of U.S. Jesuit colleges or universities and Campion College at the University of Regina in Canada the opportunity to develop their media skills and professional relationships while living and working in the capital of global communications, New York City.
