Launch Grand Opening:
Last week, the Wond'ry celebrated the grand opening of the new Launch incubator space, located in the Loews Office Tower. The Chancellor and Provost both attended to remark upon the tremendous potential that the space and Founder program will provide, and to celebrate the 7 inaugural ventures: ARMS Cyber Defense, CardioFlow Technologies, EndoShunt, Fathom, Finally, Radical Shoots, and Zeno Power Systems. Wond'ryful Memories we loved in March:What a packed month! The Makerspaces held workshops on thermoforming, molding and casting, and soldering. We celebrated the grand opening of Launch! Tools for Social Innovation started and finalists were chosen for the Coffee Equity Lab. And the Wond'ry space was taken over for a sustainable fashion show!

It's almost time for Giving Day!Get ready! Vanderbilt’s sixth annual Giving Day will be on April 21. This year’s theme is Vandy We Stand! Over the years, the Wond'ry has been able to give support and funding to many incredible innovators, that are changing the world in impactful ways. From nutritional improvements like Radical Shoots and Mighty Blendz, cyber security defense from Arms Cyber, equitable enhancements like Leaf Global Fintech, medical innovators such as Cardio Flow and EndoShunt, and everywhere in between, the Wond'ry is here to support students, faculty and staff to bring innovations to life.

Volunteer Opportunity!
Launch Mentorship, a non-profit operating here in Nashville Tennessee, is looking for volunteers for at least two of the four following dates: April 19, April 27, April 29, and May 9. Mentors will be working with their partner, Antioch High School, to engage in a 4 seminar-workshop series. You will help to guide students to develop actionable plans for their post-secondary ambitions.
