From the Ranch House

Coming Soon...
Long Range Planning Survey
The Long Range planning Committee will be releasing a community survey next week. Please keep a look out for this survey in your email and be sure to participate!
Currently a master planning firm, McMahon Group, is developing a proposal to update and improve the Ranch House and the surrounding facilities. They will soon be seeking our reactions to their proposal. To do this properly, we need your input to better understand what the facilities need to meet the expectations of the community.
The upcoming survey will be rather lengthy and in depth to ensure that we collect the most thorough data. We strongly encourage Homeowners to take the time to complete this survey so that your voice is heard!

Dead Tree Initiative
RVRMA management has launched a dead tree removal initiative in RVR common areas. We have started the removal of all dead or dying trees from common areas and will continue to do so over the course of the summer. We endeavour to curb the risk of fire danger and enhance aesthetics with the elimination of these trees. We hope that the community will follow suit by clearing failing and dead landscape on their properties as well.
As a reminder, any tree removals on your property will require Administrative Approval. You can get started by clicking here to view the Home Improvement Application.

Speeding in RVR
Whenever drivers fail to obey the speed limits set on our roadways, they pose an unnecessary safety risk for everyone in the community. RVR endeavours to keep everyone who travels through our neighborhood safe.
RVR General Manager, Ashley Lynch, recently met with the Town of Carbondale Chief of Police to discuss the issue of speeding within our community. We have passed on information gained from our speed surveillance devices.
Green Tip
Please enjoy the following eco-friendly tidbit brought to you by Friends of the Environment:
Summer is here and everything is green and growing. When you have collected pulled weeds, and grass, tree, and shrub clippings, please don't put them in the garbage. Save landfill space because these items help to make compost. The Town of Carbondale pays to have large yard waste containers available for these items every other Saturday (including tomorrow) all summer. The bins are located in the parking lot area across from Town Hall. The contents of these bins go to compost facilities where they have a second life. You may only have a small bag or two but it all adds up!
If you would like to join the Friends of the Environment mailing list, email courtney.eaton@icloud.com.
