We’ve authored two new articles to help you and your clients navigate strategic year-end giving decisions, especially in light of the 2026 legislative changes.
As always, our team is here to assist you and help your clients reach their charitable giving goals before the end of the year.

For over 20 years, the Endow Iowa Tax Credit has been a valuable tool to maximize your clients’ support of Iowa causes they care about. There is an estimated $2M credits remaining for 2025.
As you may recall from an update this summer, the Endow Iowa Tax Credit program will be changing beginning January 1, 2026.
- Reduction of Endow Iowa Tax Credit program from $6 million per year to $3.5 million per year.
- Reduces the maximum tax credit amount from $100,000 to $50,000 per taxpayer annually.
- Gifts to corporate-named endowments will not be eligible.
If you have clients wanting to make substantial Endow Iowa qualified gifts, encourage them to consider making those gifts in 2025 given the 2026 reduction in maximum credits per individual.
