Penn LDI and Penn Medicine have launched a new research initiative that will address important questions about health care delivery that can inform Penn Medicine’s operations or strategic direction. 
The largest cohort of Summer Undergraduate Minority Research (SUMR) scholars in the program’s history completed 12 weeks of hands-on health services research training.
In an effort to dismantle racism in clinical medicine, Penn researchers challenge longstanding race-based algorithms and thresholds used in clinical tests.
Amol Navathe, Joshua Liao, and Rachel M. Werner find that Medicare patients fared better when receiving care from accountable care organizations and bundled payment providers together, rather than with bundled payments alone.
Rachel French, Shoshana Aronowitz, and colleagues systematically review promising interventions and policies for hospitalized patients with opioid use disorder.
