Thanks for seeing us at PLA!
Thanks for seeing us at PLA!
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to see us at PLA in Denver last week. We are so excited that you are interested in recieving more inforamtion about the 2017 total solar eclipse and how we can help you with programming around this huge event!
Please keep an eye open for our 'Eclispe' newsletter as well as our monthly 'STAR_Net' newsletter for the best information and resources.
The above map shows the Eclipse's path of totallity as well as the point of greatest duration. If your location is far out of the band of totallity, that's okay, you will still see a partial eclipse!
Is your library in the path of totallity? Are you close enough to travel? Do you know how to watch the eclipse? Are you ready to talk about why this is such a big event and why we see what we see? No worries if not, we're here to help!

This is gonna be fun, and we're pretty sure everyone you know would like to be in-the-know too. Email Jacquelyn with your name and library website to join our newsletter list, and maybe win a perk or two!
Things are looking up
Two great options for watching the solar eclipse are with special 'Eclipse Shades' or creating your own viewing box! More on these later...
