With just over a week left until the official end of winter (March 31), we’re excited to share that the Spring guide is ready and we can’t wait for you to see all the amazing things we have planned!

We’ve also got some fantastic events coming up, and we’d love for you to be part of them. Plus, we’ll be offering a select offering of fitness programs during the season break—stay tuned for details in our next email!

NESA Dance Night! March 28, 2025

Don’t Miss Out – Get Your Dance Night Tickets Now! 

Our Dance Night with DJ Alan is scheduled for Friday, March 28, from 7:00pm-10:00pm, but we need your help to keep the party going! While tickets will be available at the door, we haven’t sold enough in advance to ensure the event can continue.

To avoid any disappointment, buy your tickets now! If we don’t reach our ticket goal by Tuesday, March 25, at 3pm, we will unfortunately have to cancel the event.  

Tickets: $12 in advance | $15 at the door

NESA's Annual General Meeting

Join us for NESA's Annual General Meeting on Friday, April 4 at 1:00pm as we review 2024 and look forward to the future by meeting the new Board candidates and meet other members at a post-meeting social gathering.
Refreshments will be served; advanced registration is required.

Please note that an active 2025 NESA Membership is required in order to attend and participate in this meeting.

Free Income Tax Clinic at NESA

The NESA's Free Income Tax Clinic is back! This is a partnership between NESA and the CRA with the intent to provide free income tax service to local seniors.
The tax clinic will run from March 10 to April 30, 2025.
To be eligible, you must be a senior with an income that is less than $35,000 for one person and $45,000 for two people.

If you qualify and would like to access the program, please give us a call at 780-496-6969. When you call, we will book your appointment. Feel free to tell your friends and family! 

Calling all NESA Golfers!

 Join us for our Annual General Meeting on April 3, 2025, from 1:00pm-3:00pm to discuss the upcoming golf season (April 29-September 2) and club details, including the year-end banquet.

To attend, register in advance either online under the "Clubs" section of the course catalog or at the front desk. A 2025 NESA Membership is required and a $2 meeting fee must be paid prior to the AGM. A $25 golf club membership fee will be collected at the meeting by the Club Coordinator.

Grocery Gift Cards - Get Yours Today!

Did you know that NESA sells grocery gift cards for Sobeys, Safeway, and Save-On Foods? For every grocery card you buy from NESA, our senior's recreation centre earns a small percentage from each card sale. Those funds then go towards our various seniors fundraising initiatives at NESA.
