John and Renee debut together on Monday January 24, and their show starts at 6:00am until 10:00am. Mr. Davies last did mornings as part of The Susan Show for the past 3 years at WBNQ in Bloomington, Illinois.
Nexstar CBS affiliate/WANE-TV (Channel 15, Fort Wayne) weekend sports anchor and reporter Colton Howard exits. Mr. Howard joined WANE-TV a year ago. WANE-TV promotes digital reporter Josh Ayen to weekend sports anchor and reporter. Also, digital content producer and reporter Natalie Clydesdale exits and joins KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma as a reporter. Finally, producer Drew Bogs also exits WANE-TV after 6+ years.
Heartland Media's FOX affiliate/WFFT-TV (Channel 55, Fort Wayne) welcomes new reporter Briana Byus. Ms. Byus graduated in 2021 from Biola University.
At Gray Television's ABC affiliate/WPTA-TV (Channel 21, Fort Wayne), they welcome Chad Maxwell as a sports reporter. Before joining 'ABC21', Mr. Maxwell served as an Associate Producer for NBC Sports Chicago.
Mark Elliott joins for weekends at Swick Broadcasting's AC/WLKI (100.3fm, Angola) and fill-in on various Local Radio Network formats. Mr. Elliott programmed Evansville's WIKY (104.1fm) for 7 years.
Northcentral
Former Cumulus' Country/WWKI (100.5fm, Kokomo) WWKI PD Dave Broman died. Age 68. Mr. Broman started in radio at what was then WCRD (100.1fm, Bluffton). Once he started at Michigan Tech University, he worked at WGGL-FM in Houghton, Michigan. He worked 25 years at WWKI. Here's the complete obituary.

Moody Radio sells their Spanish Religion/WGNR (1470am, Anderson) and the CP for 250-watt translator W267CV (101.3fm, Anderson) to Sharanjit Kaur and Sukhdev Singh Dhillon’s Radio Punjab AM 1470 LLC. The sale price was $129,000. The new owners haven't started their programming, so 1470am is silent for now.

Circle City Broadcasting's CW affiliate/WISH-TV (Channel 8, Indianapolis) Director of Sales Chris Cook exits and joins Nexstar as VP/GM of their KLFY-TV in Lafayette, Louisiana. Back at Channel 8, anchor and reporter Dan Klein exits. Mr. Klein joined WISH-TV in June 2019, after working for 3 years as an anchor and reporter at WSAZ-TV in Huntington, West Virginia. Finally, anchor/reporter Brooke Martin exits. In October 2012, Ms. Martin joined WISH-TV after working in Wichita, Kansas for KSNW-TV ('KSN-TV').
Cumulus promotes Zachary Burton ('Tommy') to MD/Afternoons at CHR/WZPL (99.5fm, Greenfield).
Former Indianapolis broadcaster Lee Shannon died. He worked on-air at what was then Country/WIRE (1430am, Indianapolis) in the 1970s.

Nexstar NBC affiliate WTWO-TV (Channel 2, Terre Haute) and Mission Broadcasting ABC affiliate WAWV (Channel 38, Terre Haute) promotes Tim Sanders to VP/GM of both stations. Mr. Sanders has been with these TV stations for 17 years.

Indiana University's WFIU (103.7fm, Bloomington) and their 5 FM translators all update their weekend schedule. This also impacts 'WFIU2' heard on FM translators W270BH (101.9fm, Bloomington) and W261CM (100.1fm, Seymour).
Let's break these down, starting with WFIU and their 5 FM translators:
• Wait Wait Don't Tell Me! moves from 11:00am on Saturday to 10:00am on Saturday.
• It's Been a Minute with Sam Sanders moves from WFIU2 to WFIU on Saturday at 11:00am.

January 16: In 1986, 104.9fm in Muncie became WOKZ. Today, it's WERK. Before WOKZ signed on, WWWO in Hartford City moved from 104.9fm to 93.5fm, WZWZ in Kokomo moved from 93.5fm to 92.7fm, and WXUS in Lafayette moved from 92.7fm to 93.5fm.
January 17: In 1977, 97.7fm in Goshen signs on as WZOW. Today, it is WYXX. In 1995, former WAWK (1140am, Kendallville) afternoon host Alex Andres ('Alex Screamin' Freeman') died in an automobile accident. Age 22. In 2017, Muncie broadcaster Al Rent died. Age 73.
January 19: In 2011, former WNDU-TV, South Bend News Director Bob Young died. Age 87. Also, in 2011, former WBAT(AM), Marion PD John Anderson died. Age 83.
January 20: In 1967, 105.5fm in West Terre Haute signed on as WWVR. Today, it is WZJK. In 2007, Lafayette DJ 'Marley' (Sean Beall) died in an apartment fire. Age 34.
January 21: In 1983, 90.3fm in Owensboro, Kentucky signed on as WKWC, and remains so today. In 2011, WRTV-TV engineer Ron Estep died. Age 59.
January 22: In 1999, Fort Wayne's WJFX (107.9fm, New Haven) reimages as 'Hot 107.9.' In 2000, WLAB (88.3fm, Fort Wayne) founder Adolph F. 'Deac' Dietrich died. Age 82.
