Good Evening,
Since I'm based in Fort Wayne, I'm watching local television and scanning across the AM and FM radio dials. I'm impressed with tonight's severe weather coverage, especially from Nexstar's CBS affiliate/WANE-TV (Channel 15, Fort Wayne) Chief Meteorologist Nicholas Ferreri and meteorologist Adam Solarczyk, along with Quincy Media's/WPTA-TV (Channel 21, Fort Wayne) meteorologists John Burchfield and Caleb Chevalier.
From the e-mail pile: If you have a recollation of either WCBC-TV in Anderson or WRAY-TV in Princeton, please e-mail me. Thank you so much!
From the Reading Pile: To Many, Dave Wilson is Still King.
Northeast
Earlier this month, Quincy Media's WISE-TV (Channel 33, Fort Wayne) remodeled their channel lineup. The CW Network remains on their .1 channel. Here's the rest of the network:
.2: Justice Network.
.3: Grit TV
.4: Court TV
.5: Start TV
.6: MeTV
This change means the end of the weather radar channel on 33.2.
Adams Radio Group announced they will sell Oldies/WLYV (1450am, Fort Wayne) and FM translator W282CH (104.3fm, Fort Wayne) to Brian Walsh. Mr. Walsh owns Oldies/WIOE (101.1fm, South Whitley). No LMA on this deal, and we will share the sale price once the deal gets filed with the FCC. WLYV is a 1kW AM station with their tower site near South Anthony Boulevard and Hayden Street, along the railroad tracks, just southeast of downtown Fort Wayne. W282CH is a 250 watt FM translator, and their antenna is on the Cass Street tower, just north of West State Boulevard and Wells Street, near downtown Fort Wayne. Finally, Kalil & Co., Inc. served as exclusive broker for this sale.
Where Are They Now? Robert Feder reports that former WFFT-TV Chief Meteorologist Kristen Kirchhaine joined the weather staff WMAQ-TV in Chicago.

After 31 years, Dan Daggett retires from Kensington Media's Classic Hits/WRSW-FM (107.3fm, Warsaw). Mr. Daggett began at WRSW as a board operator for Chicago Cubs baseball games, and then went on-air. He worked every day part in those years, and then moved to sales, and served as GSM for 8 years.
Also, before we leave WRSW-FM, the station also installed a new transmitter. The 1985 Harris FM 10K went into retirement, and a new 2019 Gates Air Flexiva FAX 20 recently went online.
Central
Dispatch Broadcasting's NBC affiliate WTHR-TV (Channel 13, Indianapolis) welcomes back former dayside executive producer Perry Pace, now as Assistant News Director. Mr. Pace last served as Assistant News Director at Hearst's WVTM-TV in Birmingham, Alabama.
After 8 years, anchor/reporter Julian Grace exits Nexstar's CW affiliate/WISH-TV (Channel 8, Indianapolis). Mr. Grace served as a reporter during the week, and anchored on the weekend. Also, after 2 years, reporter Eric Feldman exits.
iHeartMedia welcomes Dave Hill as SVP/Programming for Indianapolis. Mr. Hill will also program Classic Rock/WFBQ (94.7fm, Indianapolis) and Alternative/WOLT (103.3fm, Indianapolis). Before moving to the capital city, Mr. Hill last programmed WBGG-FM in Miami, Florida. Finally, Mr. Hill succeeds Mike Killabrew, who became Director of Rock Programming for iHeart sister stations WBIG-FM and WWDC in Washington, DC.
Where Are They Now? Former WNOW-FM PD Brandon "Buster" Satterfield will become PD at WIOQ in Philadelphia, starting on June 17.
Southcentral
