APSIA Diversity Forum 2018- Student and Young Professionals Workshop

The Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA) invites you to participate in a special workshop for students and young professionals who are traditionally underrepresented in international affairs.
Explore how to:
  • Channel interests in international careers
  • Build skills and competencies to compete in a global marketplace
  • Prepare for and afford graduate school.

ZipRecruiter Essay Competition- Deadline: June 30. ZipRecruiter is offering a $3,000 scholarship to the winning college or university student with the most creative entry in our Winter/Spring 2018 Scholarship Promotion.

Grist Fellowship Program- Deadline: July 9. The Grist Fellowship Program is an opportunity to hone your skills at a national news outlet and deepen your understanding of environmental issues. We’re looking for early-career journalists with a variety of skills, from traditional reporting to multimedia whizbangery. The news fellow will work full-time, making daily contributions to Grist’s editorial operations including (but not limited to) reporting, research, story ideas, writing, and creative experiments. The news fellow can elect to work out of Grist’s Seattle office or work remotely. If you work remotely, Grist will bring you out to Seattle once or twice during the six-month fellowship (so we can hang with you IRL). Fellow must make a six-month commitment. The fellowship pays $2,750 per month.

TYLENOL® Future Care Scholarship- Deadline: June 28. For 23 years, the makers of TYLENOL® have awarded more than $8.9 million in scholarships to students pursuing an education in healthcare. Scholarships of up to $10,000 will be awarded to students and practitioners who are seeking a degree to actively treat patients. Candidates must provide proof of enrollment to a health education, medical school, public health, nursing, and/or pharmacy degree program.

2019-2021 ESL teacher at Kobe College in Nishinomiya, Japan- Deadline: July 14. An excellent private, all-girls’ school near Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto has been recognized  by  the  Japanese  Ministry  of Education and  Science  for  offering  one  of the very  top  English  language  programs  in  Japanese junior high schools. The salary is generous and the campus is beautiful. The application deadline is July 14, 2018 and the position will start April 1, 2019 (so recent alumni and December graduates would be eligible).
