EMPOWERED21 GLOBAL CONGRESS IMPACTS THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD!

The 10-day E21 Global Congress took place virtually this year, and the number of people who registered and watched the sessions was off the charts! It was by far the largest event that E21 has ever hosted. More than 100,000 people representing 197 nations watched the video sessions, and were blessed to hear inspiring messages from 70-plus Spirit-empowered leaders, including President Wilson.

ORU WORSHIP'S NEW ALBUM

“My Offering,” ORU Worship’s first new album in eight years, was definitely worth waiting for. Although it was in the works for months before the pandemic, it’s heartfelt music that seems especially meant for the difficult season that the world is in the midst of right now.

SUCCESSFUL LIFT-OFF FOR ORU STUDENTS

Three students in ORU’s Engineering program came up with a design that won the NASA Glenn Research Center’s University Student Design Challenge—specifically, in the Electrified Aircraft Propulsion Challenge division. Nolan Monnier, Joshua Braun, and Caleb Brown were honored in a virtual NASA event on June 18.

AD TEAM EARNS AWARD

Great ideas are like “pure gold” for companies like Adobe. Over the past year, the students on ORU’s Ad team developed ideas that certainly fit the description. For their stellar efforts, they received the Adobe Judges’ Award for Best Program Strategy through the 2020 National Student Advertising Competition.

ORU offers a fully online master’s degree in Christian Ministry. The program is designed to give students skills they can use every day—in the marketplace or in professional ministry. And it’s offered in both English and Spanish.
