We are busy getting ready for our two church-wide celebrations! Everyone is invited to stay for a meal after our 10:00 service on June 18th and July 2nd. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy the afternoon on our beautiful campus.
Please let Louise Johnson know if you can help boil shrimp on June 18th, or if you can help provide desserts on June 18th or July 2nd.
If you have a large pot we can use on the 18th to boil the shrimp, a tent we may use either or both Sundays, or if you can help set up, please let Brandon Jones know. Thank you!

Due to so much rain, the pick up day for Scout Troop 164's
Blueberry Fundraiser has been moved to
Monday, June 12th from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.
(Blueberries can be PICKED in the rain, but they will not last if they are PACKED while wet.) We are now expecting some sunny days, so your berries will be ready to pick up from the church foyer next Monday. Again, thank you for supporting our Boy Scouts.

His Kitchen will be open once a month during the summer. They are TAKING ORDERS NOW for pick up next Monday, June 12th. All of their casseroles are fine to freeze - so look at your schedule and put away a few for those summer days when you want to sit by the pool instead of work in the kitchen! As always, all profits support the ministries of PHUMC!

VBS is planned for June 26th - June 29th, from 8:30 - noon

Summer Reading Club at MadCAAP
begins next Tuesday, June 13th!

Teen and adult volunteers are needed to read with younger children and to serve as leaders and mentors. The Summer Reading Club meets every Tuesday at the MadCAAP Center from 9:00-10:15 am until school resumes.

You may also be interested in helping with MadCAAP's 4th annual VBS program, June 26th - 29th from 8:30 am to noon.

Women's Bible Study
We had a great turn out for the first week of our new Women's Bible Study. It's not too late to jump in! You are invited to join other Parkway Hills Women to study 2nd Timothy, using Beth Moore's study, "Entrusted" on Monday evenings at 6:00 pm. Need more information? Contact Pat Franklin.
