2024 NSF GRFP INFORMATION SESSION & WORKSHOP

The UT Austin Graduate School and the College of Natural Sciences Strategic Research Initiatives office will host the annual information session for students interested in applying for the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP). The information session will be led by experienced grant writer and GRFP reviewer Dr. Angel Syrett and hosted by UT GRFP Coordinator Elizabeth Korves.

GRFP WEEKLY WRITERS WORKSHOP STARTS THURSDAY 9/19!!

Students who attend the information session will have the option to sign up for the NSF GRFP Writers’ Workshop taught by Dr. Angel Syrett. The workshop is designed to coach graduate and undergraduate researchers through the process of writing and applying for NSF GRFP applications.

WRITERS WORKSHOP FEATURES

Weekly group meetings featuring past reviewer guest speakers and past awardee guest speakers
GRFP support network of past reviewers and past awardee peer-mentors
Access to a large collection of resources and successful examples
Peer-review and critique guided by GRFP Merit Review Criteria
