Ignite Your Strengths: CliftonStrengths
During Orientation, you will engage in strengths-based development activities that support Villanova’s commitment to developing and nurturing the whole person in an environment that supports individual differences. Every incoming student will take the CliftonStrengths assessment, which we view as a tool for self-discovery. Before you arrive for Orientation, complete the steps outlined on our website to complete your CliftonStrengths assessment.
- Academic Integrity
All incoming Villanova students are required to complete Academic Integrity Training by Thursday, Aug. 15. This program will take approximately 45-55 minutes to complete and must be completed on a laptop or desktop computer (mobile devices cannot be used). For instructions on completing the course, information about Villanova’s Code of Academic Integrity and frequently asked questions, visit our Academic Integrity Training page.
- Additional Courses
All incoming Villanova first year and transfer students are expected to complete the online AlcoholEdu for College; Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates; Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging; and Mental Health and Well-Being courses by Tuesday, Aug. 20. Follow this link to start the courses.

College of Arts and Sciences: Advising Information
If you are a student in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS), you will have received a link to a Blackboard organization through your Villanova email address. In this organization, you will find four modules, each with a video and a video quiz. In order to meet with an advisor, you must complete all four modules and earn an 80% or better on each quiz. You will also find a survey for your course preferences; completing this in a timely fashion the best way to indicate your course choices so that your schedule can be created. This information is accessible through the left-hand navigation pane on the Blackboard course, which can be accessed at elearning.villanova.edu. Once you’ve completed these requirements, your advisor will reach out with the dates/times available to attend a group Zoom meeting necessary for all CLAS transfers over the summer months.
