| This year, we’ve all had plenty of opportunity to reflect on the importance of staying well. And in the midst of a pandemic it’s crucial that we help our youth remain physically and emotionally resilient. This Giving Tuesday (December 1), CATCH will launch the Keep Kids Well During COVID campaign to raise support for our initiatives to provide free and low-cost health education resources and COVID-response trainings to educators, communities, and youth across the U.S. As a nonprofit, we depend on the support of our community to do this work. Please mark your calendars and join us on Giving Tuesday by making a contribution of any amount to CATCH. Or visit our campaign website today to make an early gift! Thank you for your continued support and friendship. We couldn’t do it without you!

| PE and SEL: A Perfect Match
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is a critical piece of the Whole Child framework. At CATCH, we are all about collaborating with others to make Whole Child education fun, easy, equitable and accessible.
Following up our CATCH Inclusive Health video series released earlier this year, CATCH is now excited to team up with Margot Toppen to deliver a 2-hour interactive virtual training for PE teachers.
Margot is the creator of EduMotion, a digital SEL program with an engaging movement-based curriculum that is grounded in the latest research on how SEL and dance can serve as levers for equity.
Teachers will have two chances to attend this training – one on January 13th and then again on January 21st. The objective of this training is to provide teachers with a basic foundation of the CASEL SEL framework and some useful tools and examples to help them embed SEL into their PE programs and activities. Contact Lindsay Edgar at lindsay@catch.org for more information / to sign up.
