Arun Agrawal to lead Notre Dame’s new University-wide sustainability initiative

Arun Agrawal, a renowned scholar of environmental politics and sustainable development, will join the University as the inaugural director of the Just Transformations to Sustainability Initiative, a key priority in the University’s strategic framework.

Office of the Provost continues Connections Series, highlighting interdisciplinary work at Notre Dame

The next Connections Series event on Monday, November 4, will feature Ron Metoyer, vice president and associate provost for teaching and learning. He will lead a discussion about various efforts in teaching and pedagogy as they relate to the strategic framework.

Rev. Gustavo Gutiérrez, O.P., professor emeritus of theology at Notre Dame and widely regarded as the “father of liberation theology,” died Tuesday, October 22, in Lima, Peru. He was 96.
