"Unmask Alice" by Rick Emerson
"Did you read 'Go Ask Alice' growing up? Did you think, until very recently perhaps, that it was a true story?? Be prepared to have your mind blown! This wild nonfiction ride delves into the story behind the perennial bestselling 'diary,' the true author, and how much she was able to shape and define the cultural mores of the 1970s and 80s. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll be appalled--and then once you've finished, you'll want to read it again, just to see what shocking details you missed the first time!'"
