NC State Students’ Advocacy Secures Return of Talley Polling Place

This spring, a group of five NC State students, part of the non-partisan Pack the Polls program and under the guidance of Student Leadership and Engagement Associate Director Brian Mathis, went to one of the Wake County Board of Election’s sessions and made remarks successfully advocating for the continuation of Talley Student Union as an early voting site.

Gregg Museum of Art & Design attendance is growing daily and the energy is apparent. Based on current trends, visitor numbers for fiscal year 2023–24 are projected to be up 63% versus 2022–23.

  • Registration for Fall 2024 Crafts Center Classes is now open to the public!
  • NC State LIVE has announced its 2024-25 lineup of innovative performing arts programming. Create Your Own Series subscriptions will go on sale Aug. 14.
  • Registration for the Moonlight Howl and Run on Aug. 22 is now open! A signature Wolfpack Welcome Week event, the 1.3-mile run is a great way to actively get to know campus. This event is open to students, faculty and staff.
  • July 13-14 is an OIT extended maintenance weekend.
  • On Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to noon during the month of July, the Gregg Museum is launching its first ever summer program series for elementary school children in the Triangle area.
  • The Wellness Champion application is now open for the fall 2024 cohort. Join the award-winning network of Wellness Champions who are dedicated to enhancing the collective well-being of their coworkers. The application will close Aug. 5.
  • Packapalooza 2024 is set for Saturday, Aug. 24 from 2-10 p.m. Volunteer sign up is open now.
  • Feed the Pack is looking for volunteers to help staff the pantry over the summer. Volunteers will help stock the pantry, check patrons out and prepare items.
