They have scoured the planet in search of sacred artifacts that bring natural history to life β and they're ready to share it all with you, the Y-seum visitors, at Summer Camp 2025! Bring your curiosity and excitement and get ready to have some fun at the Y-seum this summer!

When you help give someone a joyful experience, it makes your heart happy. For February, the month of love and Valentine's Day, we're encouraging Members to make their hearts happy and spread their Y love by bringing a friend to the Y!
Members can bring a friend to the Y for FREE the entire month of February to enjoy cardio, free weights and the pool. If your friend joins the Y, you get a FREE month of membership!

Do you know if you have prediabetes? Would you like to lose weight? Do you want to feel better and have more energy?
The year-long, evidence-based Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) at the YMCA of Metropolitan Denver has received a Full Plus Recognition status from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). This full recognition status is an A+ grade indicating that our program exceeds standards set by the CDC.
Enrolling now for classes β options available virtually and in-person, in Spanish and English.

Mark your calendar for Healthy Kids Day on April 26, which we'll be celebrating at the Aurora and Southwest YMCAs.
Healthy Kids Day is the Y's national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. For over 30 years, YMCAs and their communities have hosted free community events aimed to inspire kids and families to keep their minds and bodies active throughout the summer months and beyond.Β

| What's Happening at the Y: Day at the Capitol |
This powerhouse group of Colorado YMCA executives were at the Colorado State Capitol last week for the annual Day at the Capitol event. They advocated for supporting working families through early childhood education and improving our state's health through evidence-based programs that prevent and control chronic conditions like diabetes and heart disease.Β
The Colorado Alliance of YMCAs is made up of the YMCA of Northern Colorado & Southern Wyoming, YMCA of Metro Denver, YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, YMCA of Pueblo and YMCA of the Rockies.
