Week Three of Homelessness Awareness Month
In week 3 of Homelessness Awareness Month, we will be covering hunger, food insecurity, and youth.
This week we'll be covering topics such as shocking food insecurity statistics, information about our Essentials Drive campaigns, how to get involved with HomeAid, helping our youth, and more.
Making a difference starts with you.
Donate to Food Pantries or Host a Food Drive
To help us feed the people most at risk in our community. Host a drive to collect protein bars, snacks, and other non-perishable food items that can be included in the CareKits and given to food pantries. To learn how to assemble a CareKit, click here.
Food pantries can also be a lifeline for food-insecure people. Help keep them stocked with donations. Visit your nearest or local nonprofit organization and make a list of needed donations.
Follow us on social media this week as we highlight the complexities of this problem and how you can get involved!
