We began the church program year with a focus on the Good Word. This Sunday we begin a new rhythm of education with the focus on scripture. Every age group from children through adults will be studying the text that is the focus on the morning's sermon. We hope that by studying the same text we will create more opportunities to knit the congregation together and invite you into the morning's worship more deeply. Mostly, we hope that you will experience God's Word as nourishing bread for your own journey.

Education Hour Details
Education hour will begin at 10am.
Children - upstairs
Youth - youth room on the bottom level
Adults - Option 1: All are welcome in the Washington Room
Option 2: Parents Group in Colonial on the bottom level
On the first Sunday of the month we will have a Feast Day. At 10am, children will lead the way in making sandwiches for our hungry neighbors through the Georgetown Ministry Center and adult education will focus on learning from one of our mission partners.
Oct 4: Remember Niger Coalition
Nov 1: Georgetown Ministry Center
At 11am, we will have worship with communion and invite everyone to extend the fellowship of the table into a fellowship lunch following worship.
