Carcinoid Syndrome Interview Research Study

Do you have a neuroendocrine tumor and carcinoid syndrome?
Are you interested in participating in a Zoom interview?

You can make a difference for all NET patients living with carcinoid syndrome by sharing your experience and perspective during a 60-minute ZOOM interview, scheduled at a time that is convenient for you, during the daytime, evening, or on a weekend.

We are looking for approximately 20 – 30 individuals with metastatic neuroendocrine tumors AND carcinoid syndrome who are currently receiving either Sandostatin (octreotide) long-acting injections or Somatuline Depot (lanreotide) long-acting injections.

During the interview, you will be asked questions about symptoms you may experience as a result of having carcinoid syndrome. You will also be asked to complete and provide feedback on several questionnaires.

After you complete the interview, you will receive a $150 (US) Amazon gift card for your time.

The interview will be conducted by a member of the project team from Health Outcomes Solutions, a group specializing in this type of research. The team is assisting a pharmaceutical company that will be investing in clinical trials to explore new treatments for carcinoid syndrome.

Your responses will be combined with the responses of other participants. Your name will not be associated with your responses.

To participate in the study, you must be at least 18 years of age and speak fluent English. The study has been reviewed and approved by an Ethics Committee/IRB.
