The first CPH adjunct faculty meeting was held on August 20 with an impressive turnout. Topics included adjunct faculty recognition, engagement, evaluations, the university adjunct faculty social, and the role of AI.
The virtual adjunct faculty connections program continues from last year and will begin on September 15 from 6:30–7:30 pm. Sessions will feature updates on CPH happenings, engagement and recognition efforts, and Q&A opportunities. The gatherings will be on the third Monday of each month this fall (September 15, October 20, November 17, and December 15). You are welcome to join whenever you can— every week or occasionally and stay the whole hour (or as long as you can).

College Steps Challenge Begins September 1 |
The CPH Steps Challenge is back again for a new semester of healthful, departmental competition. All CPH employees can join in—this includes adjuncts, GRAs, and wage staff. Participants may walk anywhere, anytime, within each weekly time frame, counting their steps, and then report the steps they’ve walked by midnight the immediately following Monday.
Report your steps no later than 11:59 pm on the Monday after each Monday-through-Sunday challenge week.
The first week of walking is September 1 - 7. Report your steps for that week on September 8. Report your preceding week’s steps here.
