GW is moving to a new VPN (virtual private network) called GlobalProtect. According to GWIT, GlobalProtect is more user-friendly, secure, and takes advantage of single sign-on. For faculty, students, and staff connecting from off-campus, the VPN allows you to access Drupal, library resources, and other GW systems remotely.
You can download the new VPN onto your personal computer or smart device from the GWIT website. The current VPN, Cisco AnyConnect, will continue to work until August 8th.

Deletion Date for 180-Day-Old Cloud Recordings: Coming Soon |

GW instituted a 180-day storage limit for Blackboard Collaborate, Webex, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom cloud recording storage, beginning January 1, 2023.
If you have recordings made before January 1st that you wish to keep after July, they need to be downloaded and saved elsewhere before the 180-day storage limit begins July 1st. We recommend saving these downloads in Panopto or Box if you wish to share them with others.
