Dear Fenwick Students and Parents,

After requesting a meeting with the Village of Oak Park Public Health Department nearly a month ago to discuss the Task Force’s proposal to allow Fenwick a variance from the six feet of quarantine distance requirement to make it consistent with the three feet of social distance requirement, representatives of the Task Force finally met with the VOPPHD on Tuesday, April 27.  With the VOPPHD still operating under an interim director of public health, and the new director not expected to start for another week or two, any decision on the quarantine distance was deferred at least until the permanent director is in place. If/when Fenwick is able to present its case to the VOPPHD again, we will keep you informed.

Senior information:

Graduation is at Allstate Arena on Saturday, May 29, at 12:00 p.m.  Doors open at 11:00 a.m.  Please note the following:
  • Masks must be worn at all times, regardless of vaccination status, and social distance must be maintained.
  • Graduates of the Class of 2021 will receive masks to wear at the ceremony. However, they must still wear a mask to enter Allstate Arena. If a graduate wants to wear a surgical mask, we ask that they wear the provided mask on top.
  • Five guests may accompany each graduate.  Guests will be seated in groups of five or fewer.  Graduates will sit separately.  Do not swap tickets.  Anyone outside your family “pod” cannot sit with you nor can they join any group that will make it larger than five.  Seating is first come first serve.
  • There will be separate entrances for students and parents/guests, so plan to take photos outside of Allstate Arena after the event. 
  • Possible live-streaming. Details will be forthcoming.
  • Allstate Arena is ADA compliant. 
  • Tickets will be distributed at Graduation Practice. 
  • You must RSVP for the graduation ceremony to be admitted to Allstate Arena.  Please see the below link to RSVP no later than Friday, May 7.

  • Senior Day - Friday, May 14 - College Declaration Day (wear shirt/sweatshirt from college)
  • Senior Day - Friday, May 21 (dress down day, theme TBD) 
  • Baccalaureate Mass - Wednesday, May 26, at 8:00 a.m. in the auditorium.  No guests allowed.  This will be live-streamed to the classrooms and outside the building.  Live-stream details are forthcoming.  Senior speech and video will immediately follow Mass.
  • Senior honors/awards will follow Baccalaureate Mass on Wed., May 26
  • Graduation Practice - Thursday, May 27, at 8:00 a.m. in the auditorium
  • Prom - Saturday, May 29, 7-10:00 p.m. at the Max in McCook, IL
