New Clinical Director: Tania Soto |
Meet Tania Soto (she/her) LPC, the new Clinical Director of RECLAIM:
Tania grew up in San Antonio Texas and is deeply connected to her Mexican and Puerto Rican roots as they influence her approach to this work, sparking her curiosity about other people’s cultural upbringings, values, and experiences. Tania received her Masters degree in Multicultural Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado Denver, after experiencing first-hand the lack of mental health support in many low-income, BIPOC, & LGBTQ+ communities. She now specializes in Liberation and Decolonial therapeutic work and has been working with BIPOC, LGBTQ+, immigrant, and Spanish speaking communities for over 10 years. She believes we all deserve access to quality mental health care and community support that embraces the fullness of our complexities, using a collectivist & anti-oppressive lens to create a compassionate world where all are valued, cared for, and respected.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, thrifting, playing with her golden retriever, cuddling her sweet cat, playing board games with family and friends, trying new restaurants with her wife, swimming, karaoke, and arts and crafts.
You can meet Tania at RECLAIM's Open House on June 3.

MN LGBTQIA2S+ Community Needs Survey |
The time to act is now! Your input is needed for the Minnesota LGBTQIA2S+ Community Needs Survey. The survey is safe, confidential, and anonymous. The data from this survey will be used by the Council on LGBTQIA2S+ Minnesotans to identify community needs, inform policy recommendations, and advocate for resources that support LGBTQ+ individuals across Minnesota. Results will be made available to the public and able to be used by other organizations.
Please take 15-20 minutes to complete this survey before May 31.

Join RECLAIM's Board or a Committee |
RECLAIM is looking to strengthen its current Board and Committees by adding members who are dedicated to the cause and mission of RECLAIM and able to commit time and talent to the organization. If you don’t have board experience, a committee is a great way to get to learn more about service while supporting the work of RECLAIM by focusing on specific areas, including programs, finance, governance, and development. If you have board experience or feel you are ready to serve on a board, RECLAIM is also looking for board members.
While not necessary, experience in mental health and accounting/finance are beneficial. RECLAIM desires to have a board that is reflective of the community we serve, so persons of color and members of the LGBTQ community are encouraged to apply.
Learn more about Board or Committee service on our website. Fill out the form to express your interest.
