Save the Date: brightspot strategy space study results for Radford’s Roanoke campus |
Radford University Provost Bethany Usher and Chief Financial Officer Rob Hoover will share the findings from a strategy space study conducted by higher-ed consulting firm brightspot strategy on Friday, April 12, 2-3:30 p.m. in room 617 of Radford University at Carilion in Roanoke and via Zoom. There will be an opportunity for participants to ask questions and discuss the vision for the Roanoke campus.
| |
Beginning in 2023, brightspot engaged with leadership, faculty, staff, students and external partners at Radford’s Roanoke locations to assess the university’s facilities and programs. The goal was to assist in long-range planning of Radford’s presence in Roanoke and to imagine it as a unified program made up of target audiences, connected disciplines and tailored facilities to attract, retain and educate future healthcare professionals for the region and beyond.

Ordering promotional materials with EOY budgets |
As we approach budgets turning over, now is the time to submit your request to Marketing and Communication for items you are wanting to purchase on this year’s budget. If you need assistance creating artwork for banners, flyer, brochures, etc. please submit a request in Lytho at your earliest convenience. Our design services are free, but typically have a three week turnaround time.
If you are planning to order materials from outside vendors, like 4imprint or Eleven West, you will need to send vendor proofs to branding@radford.edu for approval before purchase. When entering your REQ in eVA, you will need to upload the same proof for reference.
Please note, the university logo and logo lock ups available on our website can be used for promotional purposes, however we are not creating new lock ups outside of the ones listed on the Brand Roll Out Plan for end of year purchasing request. When selecting items to purchase, please keep the imprint area in mind. The logo and lock ups cannot be altered to accommodate vendor minimum sizing requirements and the shield cannot be used by itself.

Sustainability focuses on being mindful of our consumptive habits in an effort to conserve natural resources for future generations. It’s about realizing the environmental footprint of every single decision we make throughout the day, including what we eat, how we travel, how much water and electricity we use and so on.
It’s not just about being green, though. It’s about cutting costs by using less resources, too. Consider options like:
- Using electronic documents and printing less.
-
Using reusable coffee cups, water bottles and utensils.
- Turning off lights and computer screens when you leave a room.
These may seem like small actions, but they add up. They not only help sustain the planet, but they also save a lot of money for both you and the university.
