"An engaging series about Dr. Kate Turner, a veterinarian who makes house calls and solves murder mysteries in upstate New York. True to the cozy mystery genre, expect humorous animal stories reminiscent of James Herriot mixed with a gruesome murder or two. There are several more books in the series, so curl up with your dog or cat and read some very entertaining books!." -Jan, Patron Services

Library Stories
“The library is the best free resource there is!” -Leanne, heard at NoBo
"We have a BoulderReads learner who is making some pretty big strides lately. He just received a promotion at work. He and his wife are about to close on their first home. He just read his first entire book ever at the age of 37 – one of the Goosebumps series which he read with his son. He and his tutor practiced reading it out loud together so that he’d feel comfortable reading it with his son, who also struggles with reading. He told us that his family now comes to the library during his tutoring sessions. He reported to us that for the first time ever, he felt confident in using the computer to search the catalog to find a book for his son without assistance from staff, because his tutor had shown him how the catalog worked! He even helped his son get his own library card. Now, they are reading the second book in the Goosebumps series." -Karen, BoulderReads
