The Association of REALTORS School has recently posted the remaining topics, dates, times and locations for continuing education towards the PA 2016-2018 real estate license renewal. In addition to our brand new larger main classroom in Malvern, the School will bring high quality education to Wayne, Haverford, Blue Bell, Springfield, Havertown, Glen Mills and Kennett Square. Also, for those agents who cannot attend during weekdays, the School will once again offer Saturday and evening classes beginning in February.

Please note that for the 2016-2018 PA real estate license renewal, the Commission is requiring 3 hours of the 14 needed in total to be in a specific topic - PA Rules and Regulations.

Lastly, don't forget to save with the MCE Season Pass! SWRA members and real estate licensees can purchase the MCE Season Pass for $125 (saving you at least $25) and take unlimited standard continuing education from now through March 31st, 2018 at no additional cost!

Suburban West would like to congratulate member Debbie McCabe for winning the RPAC Car Sweepstakes. Overall, there were 266 entrants in the Sweepstakes which raised $51,521 in RPAC investments between June 15th and the drawing on December 8th at the conclusion of the Broker Invitational Luncheon. Suburban West greatly appreciates the overall RPAC support of members which protects homeownership on a local, state and national level.

Radnor Township is considering adopting a point-of-sale requirement for an inspection of private sanitary sewer laterals in an effort to reduce inflow and infiltration of stormwater into the sanitary sewer system. If this ordinance moves forward, there would be a potential impact on those selling homes in the township. The township commissioners may consider the proposed ordinance for passage in December.
